Optimized production lines of sclareol in S.cerevisiae.

Biology

The downstream lpps and tps gene can be transcribed and translated to generate the enzymes, and convert farnyl pyrophosphate (FPP) into geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP) through geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPPS).Then, GGPP is converted into labdenediol diphosphate (LPP) through labdenediol diphosphate synthase (LPPS). Finally, LPP is converted into sclareol through terpene synthase (TPS), thereby achieving the goal of synthesizing sclareol.
